Paul McCartney is set to release an expensive seven-inch singles box set on December 2nd.
Only 3000 copies of The 7" Singles Box are being pressed, and they’ll run $612 apiece. The set includes 80 singles, 65 of which use restored original artwork from 11 different countries. The remaining 15 singles have never been released in the seven-inch format before and contain songs from previous 12-inch singles, picture discs, CD singles, digital downloads and music videos.
Each box includes one exclusive test pressing, a 148-page book containing a foreword from Sir Paul, along with an essay from author Rob Sheffield, recording notes, release dates and chart information on each of the singles.
The set kicks off with the Swedish version of "Another Day" and "Oh Woman, Oh Why" from 1971, and it concludes with "Woman and Wives" and the song's St. Vincent remix from McCartney III in 2021.
