Bruce Springsteen wrapped a 4-night stand on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ on Thanksgiving night. The Boss was backed up by a 20-piece band. He performed a song from his album of R&B and soul covers called Only The Strong Survive. Springsteen performed Aretha Franklin’s “Don’t Play That Song.”
His previous three performances featured Frank Wilson’s “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do),” Tyrone Davis’ “Turn Back the Hands of Time,” and The Commodores’ “Nightshift.”
Springsteen also appeared on NBC's Late Night with Seth Meyers last Wednesday. The Boss didn't perform, but he talked about a variety of subjects, including liking cranberry sauce for Thanksgiving. Bruce said he likes it out of can, "slice by slice."
