Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues recently talked about why the legendary group has not continued after the retirement and death of their late drummer Graeme Edge.
He said, "It meant so much to him that what he wanted to do was always good with me 'cause he always had the best of interests at heart. And, I'm not sure that it could be The Moody Blues without Graeme."
Graeme passed away on November 11th, 2021 leaving Hayward and John Lodge as the only two active members of the group. You’ll recall keyboardist Mike Pinder left in 1978, and Ray Thomas retired in 2002 and passed away back in 2018.
The Moody Blues last show was on November 2nd, 2018 in La Jolla, California. Graeme Edge retired after that show. Both Hayward and Lodge do tour with their own bands.
Lodge is expected to perform the iconic Days of Future Passed album in its entirety during U.S. dates in February and March.
