Elvis Presley would have turned 88 this Sunday, and his legions fans will be able to commemorate that special day in many ways.
The studio behind the acclaimed bio-pic Elvis will host free screenings in various cities around the U.S. on Sunday, including one at Graceland. Director Baz Luhrmann and the film’s star Austin Butler will take part in at a question-answer session at one of the L.A. area screenings.
Here are some other items to mark Elvis’ birthday:
- The movie will still be available on HBO Max, which will also add a 30-minute special on Friday.
- RCA Records will introduce the previously unreleased mash-up track from Elvis: Britney Spears x Elvis Presley: “Toxic Las Vegas: Jamieson Shaw Remix” on Friday,
- The Elvis Birthday Proclamation Ceremony, with Lisa Marie Presley, will stream via Graceland’s Livesitream page at 8:30 a.m on Sunday.
- Graceland will also offer new, limited-time Elvis Movie Ultimate VIP tours from January 9th through February 28th. (Deadline)
