Neal Schon says that Journey founding member and keyboardist Gregg Rolie will also be part of their upcoming 50th anniversary tour.
Schon posted a graphic for the tour on Facebook, which led one fan to comment: "Please tell me Gregg Rolie is coming along for the ride! He's the better keyboard player and a co-founder. It only seems right. Timing couldn't be better either!!!" Schon then commented, "You'll be seeing him."
Schon and Jonathan Cain are currently involved in a lawsuit over band finances, with a preliminary hearing set for March 3rd.
Journey has two shows scheduled for Durant, Oklahoma on January 27th and 28th before starting the 50th anniversary tour along with Toto on February 4th in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Schon and Rolie left Santana in 1973 to form Journey. Rolie was featured on the band's first six albums -- handling lead vocals on the first three -- before Steve Perry was hired in 1977. Rolie left in 1980.
