John Mellencamp kicked off his ‘Live and in Person’ tour last Sunday at the Indiana University Auditorium in Bloomington. He performed a 20-song set list, including a couple of songs from his latest album, ‘Strictly a One-Eyed Jack.’
Mellencamp sang "I Always Lie to Strangers" and "Chasing Rainbows” from the new album.He also played "The Eyes of Portland" from his upcoming album, Orpheus Descending. It was named after a three-act play by Tennessee Williams that first performed on Broadway in 1957.
It should be released later this year. Mellencamp’s current tour runs through June 24th in South Bend, Indiana.
