A new John Lennon and Yoko Ono documentary takes a look at the week they were talk show hosts on “The Mike Douglas Show.”
Daytime Revolution was authorized by Ono and Sean Lennon and it looks at when John Lennon and Ono co-hosted The Mike Douglas Show in February 1972.
Ono didn't do an interview for the film, which just wrapped production, but it does have interviews with all six surviving guests, including Ralph Nader. The film also uses clips from all five 70-minute episodes of the talk show, which included Lennon performing "Imagine" and a live performance from Chuck Berry.
The film's producers and director Erik Nelson are currently looking for a distributor. Get more John Lennon on iHeartRadio, keyword John Lennon.
