Joe Elliott said singing with himself on Def Leppard's upcoming ‘Drastic Symphonies’ was a little weird.
Elliott told the BBC that he had to re-sing some songs because "the original vocals were out of place once you put an orchestra on it." And on "'Too Late for Love," Elliott says, "I did a duet with myself from 40 years ago. It's the most bizarre thing I've ever done. But it was great fun. The timing and the phrasing came to me instantly -- it's like it never left my DNA -- but it was one of the strangest things I've ever done. It was like singing with a ghost that's still alive, if that makes any sense."
Drastic Symphonies, the upcoming album on which Def Leppard re-do songs from their big catalog along with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, will be released on May 19th.
