Joe Perry says Aerosmith will announce their first major U.S. tour in eight years very soon.
Since 2015, Aerosmith has done one date shows in America, or residencies, most of which have been in Las Vegas. The band had to cut their Vegas stay in the fall of 2022 short because of Steven Tyler's medical issues.
Joe recently talked about Steven’s condition. He said, "You know, he had the surgeries on his foot and it was almost impossible for him to like stand. It was tough. So anyway he's doing really well though. You know, I've talked to him a bunch over the last bunch of months and he's doing great actually."
Joey Kramer, once again, will not be joining them. Perry said, "His heart's in the right place but playing the drums is an athletic event and there's a certain point when you just kind of like every joint starts to give out. So, at this point we're not thinking he's gonna be there."
