Queen’s video for "These Are the Days of Our Lives" just surpassed 100-million views on YouTube. The song was mostly written by drummer Roger Taylor but credited to the entire band. It’s the eighth song featured on their final album with Freddie Mercury, 1991's Innuendo.
The video was the last one Mercury ever filmed. It was shot on May 30th, 1991, six months before Mercury died from AIDS on November 24th of that year. It was released a single in the U.S. on September 5th, 1991, which was Mercury's 45th birthday.
The song now joins the likes of “I Want It All,” which passed 100 million views this past April, along with “Bohemian Rhapsody,” at 1.6 billion, “We Will Rock You” with over 500 million views, and “We Are the Champions” at more than 200 million.
