Dan Fogelberg's catalog purchased by friend Irving Azoff

The late Dan Fogelberg is latest artist whose catalog, name, image, likeness and publishing now belong to his good friend and former manager Irving Azoff's Iconic Artists Group.

Fogelberg’s widow Jean says, “I remember the main thing he told me about Irving was, ‘When I’m gone, if you need anything, ask Irving. He’ll be there for you.'" She added that the purchase has taken “a huge weight" off her shoulders.”

Azoff says, “We’re going to take it all and make the big decisions as if Dan were making the decisions.” There will soon be a documentary produced about Fogelberg’s career, along with the release of previously unheard tracks, including live recordings and demos.

Dan Fogelberg’s biggest hits include “Run for the Roses,” “Longer,” “Same Old Lang Syne,” “Leader of the Band,” “Hard to Say” and “Part of the Plan.”
