Cher has a message for fans who expect the pop diva to tone down her image as she ages -- don't hold your breath.
During a recent interview on Good Morning Britain, 77-year-old Cher said “I just can’t believe I will be 80 at some point, sooner than I wish. And I will still be wearing my jeans. And I will still be wearing long hair. And I will still be doing the same stuff I’ve always done.”
Cher also said that she and another friend of a certain age “were talking about when we were going to have to cut our hair and stop wearing jeans, because it seemed like in those days that’s what women did — and it hasn’t hit yet.”
If genes are any indication, Cher could have plenty of time to do her thing. Her mom, Georgina, passed away last year at the age of 96.
