Andy Taylor is feeling optimistic about his new prostate cancer treatment and he wants to play on stage with his old band mates in Duran Duran again.
Taylor was scheduled to reunite with the band at the Rock Hall inductiion ceremony in 2022 but was unable to travel. Now with his new treatment Taylor told Rolling Stone that "My attitude and opinion is that we should [play live together]. We do owe this amazing fan base who voted the [crap] out of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, for starters."
He also said, "I’ve always thought that going out and playing the whole of the Rio album would be a cool thing. That would be something that’s really special and different. I do think that we should do something on that level, which is purely for the fans, and not that you’ve made an album that you’re trying to promote. It doesn’t necessarily have to be stadiums and money."
Taylor also appears on several songs on Duran Duran's upcoming album Danse Macabre, which will be released on October 27th.
