Madonna and Beyonce have family ties

Beyoncé and Madonna are two of the most successful and influential female artists of all time, with countless awards, records, and fans. But did you know that they also share a family bond? According to a fan who did some extensive genealogical research, the two pop divas are actually ninth cousins.

The fan posted their findings on the former Twitter, showing how Beyoncé and Madonna are both descendants of Jean Guyon Dion, a French settler who lived in the 17th century. Jean Guyon Dion was one of the first colonists of New France, an area of North America that included parts of Canada and the United States.

Beyoncé's family on her mother's side are Louisiana Creoles, who have a mixed heritage of French, African, Native American, and Spanish ancestry. Madonna's mother, Madonna Louise Fortin, was of French Canadian origin, with roots in Quebec and Acadia.

But that's not all. The fan also revealed that Beyoncé and Madonna are related to two other famous women: Celine Dion and Hillary Clinton. Celine Dion is a Canadian singer who is also a descendant of Jean Guyon Dion. Hillary Clinton is a former U.S. Secretary of State and presidential candidate who is related to Jean Guyon Dion through her mother's side.

The fan's discovery shows how diverse and interconnected the world of music and politics is. It also proves that talent runs in the family, even if it's a very distant one.
