Def Leppard fans get a real treat

Def Leppard fans have a reason to celebrate as the band has discovered several unreleased songs they recorded for their debut album, 1980's ‘On Through the Night.’ The songs were thought to be destroyed, but they were found in the band's real vault, along with other artifacts and memorabilia.

Drummer Rick Allen revealed the news during an appearance on the Jeremy White Show podcast. He said, "We thought that the tapes had been destroyed, but it turns out that they exist. So we were able to pull some versions and some songs that have never been heard from those tapes, which is fantastic.”

Allen did not specify what the band plans to do with the tapes, but he hinted that they might be released in the future. “There’s always room for another box set,” he said with a smirk.

Def Leppard fans can also access the band's online vault, which contains artifacts and more, with related stories from the band. The online vault is available at [LeppardVault.com].

In other news, Allen also opened up about the trauma he is still dealing with after being assaulted outside the Four Seasons hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida this past March. He said, "When I hear footsteps behind me, I use shop windows like a rear-view mirror these days just to check out who's behind me. So it did bring stuff up. But I'm trying to work through it the best I can. And I'm just looking forward to being home and continuing to work through it."

A 19-year-old man was arrested, but no motive was given for the attack.
