Eagles announce new release

The Eagles are not ready to say goodbye just yet. As they continue their ‘Long Goodbye’ farewell tour, they have announced a new greatest hits collection and a 4K video of a classic performance.

The new collection, titled To the Limit: The Essential Collection, is a comprehensive overview of the band's legendary career, spanning from their debut album in 1972 to their latest studio album in 2020. It contains 51 studio and live tracks, including their iconic hits such as "Hotel California", "Desperado", "Lyin' Eyes", and "Life in the Fast Lane".

The collection will be available in various formats, including three CDs, six vinyl albums, and digital download. Fans who order the collection through the band's official website, Eagles.com, will also receive a limited-edition, embossed lithograph of the album cover.

To the Limit: The Essential Collection will be released on April 12th. It will be the band's 12th hits collection and first since 2018's Legacy, which featured all their studio albums, live albums, and singles.

Along with the announcement of the new collection, the Eagles have also released a 4K video of their 1977 performance of "Take it to the Limit" in Largo, Maryland, on their YouTube channel. The video showcases the band's vocal harmonies, musical skills, stage presence, and the crowd's enthusiastic response.

The Eagles are currently on their ‘Long Goodbye’ tour, which is expected to be their final tour as a band. The tour features the band's current lineup, consisting of founding members Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Timothy B. Schmit, along with Deacon Frey, the son of the late Glenn Frey, and country star Vince Gill
