Queen are bringing a piece of music history back to life with the reissue of their acclaimed concert film, ‘Queen Rock Montreal.’ Scheduled for release on May 10th, this reissue is not just a trip down memory lane; it's an upgraded experience for fans and newcomers alike.
Originally captured over two electrifying nights at The Forum in Montreal on November 24th and 25th, 1981, the film first made its way to audiences on Blu-ray in 2007. The upcoming reissue has been spurred by a stunning 4K IMAX remaster, which received a theatrical showcase earlier this year.
The reissue will be available in various formats to cater to every fan's preference, including double Blu-ray and double 4K Ultra High-Definition packages, as well as double CD and triple vinyl sets. A highlight of the Blu-ray and 4K packages is the inclusion of Queen's legendary Live Aid performance, now upscaled to high definition and accompanied by brand-new stereo, 5.1, and Dolby Atmos sound mixes for an immersive audio experience.
